Airlift Bioreactor GQ/SQ Type
We have two types of airlift fermenter.Stainless steel airlift fermenter and glass airlift fermenter.The Glass airlift fermenter is an advanced, non-mechanically agitated bioprocessing system designed for high-performance fermentation and cell culture applications. Utilizing gas-induced circulation instead of traditional impellers, this bioreactor is ideal for shear-sensitive cells, such as mammalian, insect, plant, and stem cells. Engineered with borosilicate glass and stainless steel components, this bioreactor combines visibility, durability, and scalability—making it a top choice for laboratories, pilot plants, universities, and pharmaceutical manufacturers.

Airlift Fermenter Features
(1)Widely used for large-scale production of single-cell proteins. However, it is not suitable for culture fluids with high viscosity or a large amount of solids.
Airlift fermenter can be widely used in the aerobic fermentation process of antibiotics, amino acids, enzyme preparations, vitamins, organic acids, etc. It is used in the domestic production of glutamic acid, antibiotics, xanthan gum, glucoamylase, and citric acid. In terms of environmental protection, it can be used for sewage treatment.
(2)The gas supply efficiency is high, and the ventilation in the air riser can be greater than the air intake of the bubble reactor.
(3) Compared with the paddle reactor with stirring paddle, the energy consumption is lower, and compared with the mechanical stirring fermenter, it can save 70%-80% of electricity and reduce the cost.
